The Woking team presented a free AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to Fullbrook school in New Haw. Full training was again provided enabling staff to physically use the equipment in order to underline its simplicity of use.
Fullbrook spokesperson Susan Mannveille says:
”We are delighted with the donation of a defibrillator and after the training session everyone feels confident about using the equipment if necessary”
With the addition of Fullbrook school, the level of defibrillator cover in the local area has risen to over 6,000 children and staff.
First Responder Glyn Willoughby says:
“We continue to be extremely impressed with the dedication of Surrey school staff. The high level of motivation and existing first aid ability is very encouraging”
