Woking CFR Team receive national award for their Defibrillators for Schools project

Woking CFR Team were honoured to receive a national award for their Defibrillators for Schools project.

At a ceremony in Kettering, Simon Ramm collected the SADS UK national award on behalf of everyone in the Woking CFR team. The award was presented by Dr David Pitcher, the chairman of the Resuscitation Council UK.

Team leader Simon Ramm says:

“It was an honour to receive this award and to share an evening with so many inspirational people. We’d like to thank Anne Jolly and SADS UK for this recognition which will help us to raise awareness of our project as we look to extend it further afield”

Tomlinscote School & College in Frimley is the next location to benefit from a free Defibrillator and training. The equipment will be presented at an awareness event at the school on 12th June.
